Eftimios Kalevras ( Greek: Ευθύμιος Καλεβράς ; 1929 Catahas, Pieria , Central Macedonia , Greece - December 11, 2011 , Thessaloniki ) is a modern Greek sculptor. Author of many sculptural monuments installed in the Macedonian capital, the city of Thessaloniki .

Biography
Eftimios Kalevras was born in the village of Katahas, Pieria , Central Macedonia . Entered the Athens School of Fine Arts , where he was a student of the famous Greek sculptor Apartis . He completed his studies in 1967. He began to participate in personal and group exhibitions since the 70s. Repeatedly received prizes in many sculpture competitions. In addition to Apartis, Moore, Henry Spencer and Roden, Auguste influenced his work.

He is the author of many busts and monuments erected in Thessaloniki , the capital of Macedonian, such as the bust of the archaeologist Andronikos , the statue of the Greek Revolution of 1821, the participant and memoir of Nikolaos Kasomulis in 1821, the National Resistance monument of Stavroupolis.
The paternal kalevras is of Pontic origin , which is reflected in his works, such as the “ Pontier Tännän ”, “The Holocaust Monument of the Pantheras ” ( Greek Μνημείο Ολοκαυτώματος τη маάτάätä άάά ма άма άά άма маά άά ςά άά ςά άά άά άά άά άά άά άά άά άά маάτάά and the monument to “Pontius Pop and the Master” in the city of Thessaloniki . Many of his sculptures are in private collections in Greece and the United States. The sculptor continues to live and work in his native Katahas [2] .
