Biography
On September 23, 1850, György Chaska was ordained a deacon, and the next day, September 24, he was ordained a priest .
On February 27, 1874, the Austro-Hungarian authorities appointed György Časka as bishop of Spis. On June 15, 1874, Pope Pius IX approved this appointment. On July 19, 1874, György аaski was ordained bishop by Archbishop Kalochi Cardinal Janos Shimor .
On December 17, 1891, Pope Leo XIII appointed György Chaska as Archbishop of Kalochi.
He died on August 11, 1904.
