Praskovya Pavlovna Naumova ( November 25, 1926 - September 10, 2013 ) - Soviet and Russian agricultural worker, milkmaid of the experimental economy of the Trans-Baikal Research Institute of Agriculture, Hero of Socialist Labor ( 1971 ).

Biography

Praskovya Naumova was born in the Siberian village of Pavlovka, now located on the territory of the Tevriz district of the Omsk region . By nationality - Russian. In 1936, her family, in which there were six children, moved to the city of Omsk , and in 1937, to the village of Kolochnoye, now located in the Chita district of the Transbaikal Territory .

In 1941 , after graduating from the 8th grade of the school, Praskovya Pavlovna began working as a vegetable grower at a state farm. From 1943 to 1945 she worked in a kindergarten, but then again returned to vegetable growing . In 1953, by order of the director, Naumova was transferred to the milkmaid of the experimental farm of the Trans-Baikal Agricultural Research Institute, where she worked until her retirement. She was a master of machine milking of the 1st class.

Naumova always strived to achieve the highest performance in the work and showed diligence and responsibility in any area of ​​work. She performed her duties impeccably, providing good care for the animals and timely feeding, thanks to which she reached the highest milk yield.

Praskovya Naumova was one of the first milkmaids on the farm to raise milk yield to 4 thousand kilograms per year. This became possible thanks to a well-established year-round feeding of the dairy herd.

In 1971, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, Praskovya Pavlovna Naumova was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor for the outstanding labor achievements with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal .

Naumova led an active social activity. She was elected a delegate to the XXIV Congress of the CPSU ( 1971 ), a deputy of the Chita Regional Council of People’s Deputies, a member of the Chita District Committee of the CPSU, and also actively participated in the public life of the party organization and staff of the Trans-Baikal Scientific Research Institute of Sheep and Beef Cattle Breeding.

In 1982, Praskovya Pavlovna retired. Until the last days, she lived in the village of Kolochnoye in the Chita district of the Transbaikal Territory , where she died on September 11, 2013 at the 87th year of her life [2] .
