Yuri Petrovich Bronnikov (April 26, 1937 - July 2013) - the integrated foreman of the mining section No. 9 of the Severnaya (Vorkuta) mine.

Biography
Came to Vorkuta in 1957 . He began his miner's biography as a machinist of underground installations at mine No. 7 of the Vorkutaugol combine (now the Severnaya mine ). Over 39 years of work at this mine, Yury Petrovich has mastered the profession to perfection. In 1966 he was appointed the complex foreman of the mining area No. 9, one of the most highly productive collectives of the Pechora coal basin, working stably with an annual load of 600–800 thousand tons. Fair, demanding first of all to himself, Yuri Petrovich is a worthy representative of the miner's guards.
On May 12, 1977, for outstanding achievements in fulfilling the socialist commitments made in 1976 for the extraction of coal and the achievement of high quality indicators in the work, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
In 1970 and 1974, Yury Petrovich was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the October Revolution and Friendship of Peoples, a full gentleman of Miner's Glory, and the titles of Honorary Miner and Honored Miner of the RSFSR.
