Biography

Born on November 25, 1928 in the village of Nagaybak, Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

He began his career as a miner in 1948 at the Koksovaya-1 mine in Prokopyevsk. Mikhail Nikolaevich was among the few volunteers who preferred active duty in the army to work in the face. After some time, at the invitation of his relatives, he moved to the Zyryanovskaya mine in Novokuznetsk, where he soon became a foreman. The first frontiers of the brigade of M. N. Reshetnikov are almost toy at today's scale - 250 thousand tons. Then there were 500 and 600 thousandth annual results. " Reconnaissance in battle " took place in May 1978, when the team achieved a record for mines in the city. Over a month, 100251 tons of coal were mined from one lava by the OKP-70 complex. In December 1978, the brigade has issued more than 700 thousand tons of coal since the beginning of the year, which was the highest achievement among the complex mechanized brigades of the city.

For the achievement of high performance indicators in the All-Union Socialist Competition in 1977 and successful work in 1978, the name of the foreman M.N. Reshetnikov was listed on the Honor Board of the Ministry. On June 27, 1979, the team of M. N. Reshetnikov fulfilled the socialist obligations undertaken for the 10th five-year plan, having mined 2.5 million tons of coal since the beginning of the five-year plan. And on December 4 of the same year, the brigade produced 1 million tons of coal by one mechanized complex.

Mikhail Nikolaevich - a veteran of labor, honored miner of the RSFSR, holder of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, badge "Miner Glory" of 3 degrees, was awarded two silver medals of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR. For the high-performance use of mining equipment and the brigade's annual production of 1 million 80 thousand tons, he was awarded the title of “1979 Kuzbass Prize Laureate”.

In 1980, he was awarded the Gold Medal of the All-Union Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR for his contribution to achieving the maximum load on the complex-mechanized lava treatment plant.

In 1981, "for outstanding production achievements, early fulfillment of the tasks of the tenth five-year plan and socialist obligations, manifested labor prowess" [1] Reshetnikov Mikhail Nikolaevich was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
