Content
History
The original name Sinbatalonnaya Street has been known since 1828, given by the battalion settlement located here, in which the Battalion of the Chancellery from the construction of houses and gardens was located. Since 1836 it was called Battalion Street , since 1849 - Battalion Lane [2] .
The modern name Fokina Street appeared on May 28, 1979 , given in honor of N. S. Fokin (1903-1923), the organizer of the youth movement [3] of the Vyborg side [2] .
