The October rural settlement was established on January 1, 2005 in accordance with the law of the Yaroslavl region No. 65-z of December 21, 2004 "On the names, boundaries and status of municipalities of the Yaroslavl region" [2] , the boundaries of the rural settlement are established within the administrative boundaries of the October and Rodionovsky rural counties .
