Biography
Club career
Parr was born in Oslo, played for the youth team "Holmliya", KFUM Oslo, "Hauger", then joined the club " Lune ".
On April 30, 2006, Jonathan made his debut for the Lune in Tippelig. [2] In 2006, Parr spent 14 matches, 11 of them in the championship, on the field he served as a winger or striker.
In March 2007, Parr signed a three-year contract with Aalesund . Jonathan played his first match for the new club on April 9 in the match against Start , [3] and on July 29, 2007 Parr scored his first goal in the Norwegian championship against Sannefjord [4] . In the first season in the new club, Jonathan spent 19 games in the championship, appearing 5 times in the starting lineup and 14 - replacing.
With Alesund, Parr won two Norwegian Cups (in 2009 and 2011). In February 2010, Jonathan extended his contract, which expired at the end of 2011, for another 1 year.
Crystal Palace
In July 2011, Parr moved from Aalesund to Crystal Palace , signing a three-year contract. According to the results of the 2011/12 season, he was recognized as the player of the year at Crystal Palace.
The 2012/13 season, Jonathan began successfully, firmly taking a place on the left flank of the defense. After a change in October 2012, head coach Parr remained at the base, sometimes playing as a right-back. The season for Jonathan ended in April 2013, when he suffered an ankle ligament injury in a match with Ipswich [5] . Crystal Palace managed to beat Watford in the playoff finals and returned to the Premier League after an 8-year absence.
December 21, 2013 Jonathan made his debut in the English Premier League in a match with Newcastle [6] . At the end of the 2013/14 season, he left the club.
Ipswich Town
July 7, 2014 joined the Ipswich Town , signing a two-year contract [7] . On August 30, he made his debut in the main team of the new club in a game against Derby [8] . In the match of round 7, Jonathan scored his first goal for Ipswich [9] .
Stremsgodset
January 13, 2016 Parr signed a contract for 3.5 years with the club Stremsgodset [10] .
Team Career
Jonathan played for the youth teams of Norway until the age of 17 and up to 19 years. In the period from 2008 to 2010 he was called up to the youth team .
May 11, 2010 was the first time called to the games of the main team , on May 29, 2010 he made his debut in a friendly match against the national team of Montenegro [11] . Parr was the first Alesund player to play for the Norwegian national team.
