Berezne or Berezne II - a lake in the Shchukin volost of the Pustoshkinsky district of the Pskov region , north of Lake Losno .

Area - 1.0 km² (100.0 ha, with islands - 101.0 ha). The maximum depth is 3.0 m, the average depth is 1.3 m, the catchment area is 79.2 km². [2]
On the southwestern shore of the lake is the village of Vasilki , on the northeastern village of Berezne .
Flowing. In the north, the Asnyanka River flows into the lake. Across the Bereznitsa River (flowing from a lake in the south) and flowing lakes Losno and Zavolotskoye , it is connected to the Velikaya River. [3] [2]
Type of lake is bream-carpentry. Mass fish species: pike, perch, roach, bream, ide, tench, ruff, rudd, plucking, loach, bleak, silver bream, crucian carp. [2]
It is characteristic of the lake: in the littoral - sand, silted sand, silt, stones, in the center - silt; there are rafts, rare zamora. In the coast - meadows, gardens, swamp. [2]
