The village is located in the west of the district, on the border of the Odintsovo and Naro-Fominsky districts, 25 km from the district center [4] , 100 m from the Small Moscow Ring and 3 km south of Golitsyno , the height of the center above sea level is 199 m [5] . The nearest settlement is practically bordering Krasnoznamensk in the north.
The village was founded at the end point - a receiving antenna, a testing ground for radio-relay lines (the initial one is in the post office building on Markhlevsky Street) [6] . Until 2006, he was part of the Sidorovsky rural district of the Odintsovo region [7] [8] .
