Football biography
He started playing football in the sports school of the city of Glukhov in Sumy region . During the tournament in Sevastopol as part of the regional team, coach Vladimir Kiyanchenko invited Igor to Kiev sportinternat. Later at the competitions in Kherson, Milyukin noticed the Nikolaev trainer Stanislav Baida and recommended him to the senior coach of the “ Shipbuilder ” Yevgeny Kucherevsky . So in 1984, after the end of the tenth grade, Igor was in the team of "shipbuilders".
In the nine years spent in the Nikolaev team, Milyukin spent a total of 221 matches, scoring 17 goals. In 1985 and 1990, as a player of the Shipbuilder, he was awarded bronze and silver medals in the Ukrainian zone of the second league of the USSR Championship. In the 1992 and 1994/95 seasons he played in the top league of the Ukrainian Championship. In 1996 he completed his playing career due to the rupture of the knee ligaments.
Coaching career
Together with Anatoly Neran and Leonid Nikolayenko he worked at the coaching staff of the Nikolaev Vodnik . Together with the club went from the championship of the city to the second league championship of Ukraine. After the team was disbanded, he worked as deputy director of the sports school "Nikolaev", then as a trainer in another Nikolaev school, school № 3.
