Performances at international competitions began in 2008. Member of the 2008 Olympic Games in the 1500 meters race, in which he was eliminated during the preliminary races. At the 2009 World Championships, he was also unable to reach the semifinals in the 1500 meters race. Took 12th place in the 3000m race at the 2010 World Championships.
At the World Championships in Cross 2006, he took the 53rd place in the short run.
