Biography
Vasily Alekseevich Nebenzya was born on February 26, 1962 in Volgograd . Parents:
- Father - Nebenzya Alexey Andreevich (1923-1994), a native of the village of Novokrasino of the Kamyshinsky district of the Saratov province (now Rudnyansky district of the Volgograd region ), a participant in the Great Patriotic War , a member of the CPSU since 1944, from 1946 on Komsomol work, from the 1950s years in Stalingrad , he worked as the first secretary of the Komsomol committee of the Stalingrad region , in 1958 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of economic sciences on the topic " Cost of collective farm production and ways to reduce it " [2] . Since 1960, at party work, he was the head of the propaganda and agitation department of the Stalingrad (since 1961 - Volgograd) regional committee of the CPSU , then until 1973 he was the second secretary of the regional committee. Since 1973, in Moscow - Deputy Chairman of the USSR State Committee for Publications , Chairman of the Council for Children's Literature, Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR [3] [4] [5] . The author of publications on reference books, as well as on the methodology and organization of statistical accounting of print products. He was buried with his wife at the Kuntsevsky cemetery (plot 11) in Moscow [6] [7] .

From June 1, 2013 to July 26, 2017 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation [8] .
On April 21, 2017, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposed the candidacy of Vasily Nebenzi for the post of Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations . On May 25, 2017, the candidacy was approved by the relevant committee of the State Duma, and on May 29, 2017 - by the specialized committee of the Federation Council. Appointed to the post of Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations and the UN Security Council by decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on July 27, 2017 [1] .
