Location
The village was located on the territory of modern Shatura on the site of Ilyich Avenue from Peace Boulevard to the bus station [1] .
Title
In written sources, the village is referred to as Tarbeikha [2] [3] . On the “Special Map of European Russia”, I. A. Strelbitsky is designated as Torbeeva [4] .
The name is associated with the non-calendar personal name Tarbey or the surname Tarbeev [5] .
History
Tarbeiha was first mentioned in 1793, when the village was attributed to the parish of the Resurrection Church of the village of Krivandino [6] .
The last owner of the village before the abolition of serfdom was the provincial secretary Alexander Vasilievich Ievlev [2] [7] .
After the abolition of serfdom, the village became part of the Luzgara volost [8] .
In 1970, village houses were demolished [1] .
