Content

History

By the decision of the Moscow Regional Duma of July 8, 1998, the Vyalkovsky and Kopninsky rural districts were merged. In 2002, the Vyalkovsky and Strokinsky rural districts were merged into the Vyalkovsky rural district [3] .

In 2006, the Vyalkovsky rural district was transformed into the rural settlement of Vyalkovsky during the municipal reform , in accordance with the Law of the Moscow Region dated February 25, 2005 No. 55/2005-OZ “On the Status and Borders of the Ramensky Municipal District and the Newly Formed Municipal Unions” [2] .

On May 4, 2019, the Ramensky municipal district was abolished, and all its urban and rural settlements were merged into a new single municipal entity - the Ramensky urban district [4] [5] .

Geography

Located in the northwestern part of Ramensky district. It borders on the urban settlements of Kratovo , Ilyinsky , Bykovo and Rodniki , the urban settlement of Kraskovo of the Lyubertsy district , the urban district of Balashikha , the urban settlement of Elektrougli and the urban settlement named after Vorovsky of the Noginsky district . The area of ​​the rural settlement is 6994 ha . [6]
