Biography

Father - A. M. Laptev (1905-1965) - graphic artist, book illustrator, poet. Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Mother - Elizaveta Leonidovna Logvinova

In 1953 she graduated from the Department of Logic and Psychology of the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University. After graduating from the University and defending her thesis, she worked in the journal “Questions of Linguistics” under the supervision of Viktor Vladimirovich Vinogradov and Nikita Ilyich Tolstoy.

In the years 1972-1989. - Head Department of Russian as a foreign language for non-philological universities. In 1989-2010 Professor, Department of Contemporary Russian Language, A.S. Pushkin Institute of the Russian Language (Moscow).

The main field of research is the Russian language , syntax , actual division of sentences, stylistics , colloquial speech , public speech , public speaking , oral speech , scientific speech .
