The first team of masters is “ Pakhtakor ” ( Kurgan-Tyube ), 1967, class “B”, group “Central Asia and Kazakhstan” [1] .
In 1969 he moved to the Pamir club ( Dushanbe ), started in the backup team, but after the career-veteran defender Yuri Rynkov finished his career, he firmly took a place at the base. As a result, Cherevchenko spent 18 seasons for the Pamir, and wore a captain's armband for a long time. The record holder of the team in terms of the number of games held - played 563 matches in the national championships, scored 22 goals. Despite his short stature, he was distinguished by a good head game.
In 1993-1994 he worked as a trainer in the Hissar Shodmon, in 1996 in the Industry ( Borovsk ), then in the Moscow Lokomotiv system. In recent years - the coach of the team born in 1996. Lokomotiv-2 [2] .
