Geography
The city is located in the southern coastal part of Hormozgan, on the coast of the Khuran Strait, which separates the Qeshm island from the continental part of Iran. The absolute height is 18 meters above sea level [2] .
Hemir is located approximately 53 kilometers west-south-west (WSW) from Bandar Abbas , the provincial capital and 1040 kilometers southeast of Tehran , the country's capital.
