In 1536, the hetman of the great Lithuanian Jerzy Radziwill demanded that Ilya Ostrog fulfill the terms of the agreement. Ilya Ostrozhsky was invited to marry Barbara Radziwill ( 1520 - 1551 ), the younger sister of Anna Elzbieta. However, Ilya Ostrozhsky refused to fulfill his father’s contract, and the Polish king Sigismund Old in 1537 released him from the obligation to marry the daughter of Jerzy Radziwill.
