Musashi no ken

Musashi no Ken ( 六 三四 の 剣 Musashi no Ken ) is a Japanese manga about kendo , authored and illustrated by Motoka Murakami. Published by Shogakukan in Shōnen Sunday magazine from April 1981 to October 1985 . In 1984, the manga won the Shogakukan Award for Best Seinen Production of the Year. [one]

Based on the manga, Eiken created an anime series that includes 72 episodes. It was broadcast on TV Tokyo from April 18, 1985 to September 1986 . Based on the manga, a video game for the NES platform - Musashi no Ken - Tadaima Shugyō Chu ( 六 я の 剣 た だ い ま 修行 中 ) was also released . The game was developed by Taito Corporation and released on August 8, 1986 . [2]

Manga

Initially, manga was produced from April 1981 to October 1985 . Separate chapters of the manga were collected in kanzeban , which was released by Shogakukan in November 1981 . [3] The manga was reissued for the first time in 11 volumes from March 1992 to January 1994 [4] [5] , the second time in 10 volumes - from November 2000 to July 2001 . [6] [7]

Story

The plot revolves around a young and hardworking boy Musashi who dreams of becoming a Kendo champion, as the plot develops, he grows up and ultimately reaches his cherished goal.
