Zabrodovskoe Reservoir is a small riverbed reservoir on the Merla River (the left tributary of the Vorskla River). Located in the Bogodukhov district of the Kharkov region near the villages of Novosyolovka , Moskalenki and Voskoboiniki . The reservoir was built in 1962 according to the design of the Oblproekt Institute and reconstructed in 1975 according to the design of the Kharkov expedition Ukrgiprovodkhoz. Purpose - irrigation , fish farming , recreation. Type of regulation - seasonal.

Composition of hydraulic structures
- A deaf earthen dam is 701 m long, 5 m high, 11 m wide. The uphill slope is 1: 2.5, the downhill is 1: 1,5.
- Shield spillway No. 1 in the form of a trihvichkova pipe made of monolithic reinforced concrete is blocked by flat gates with screw lifts. The cross section of the pipes is 2 (2x2, 5) m and 1 (2.5 x2, 6) m, length - 20 m.
- The spillway spillway No. 2 in the form of a three-piece reinforced concrete pipe is blocked by flat metal gates with screw lifts. The cross section of the pipes is 3 (2x2) m, length - 27 m.
- Recommended water outlet from a steel pipe with a diameter of 400 mm, equipped with a latch, located in the body of the dam in the floodplain.
Reservoir Use
The reservoir was built for irrigation on the Victory collective farm in the Bogodukhovsky district. Currently used for fish farming PE "Zodiac".
