Location
Chernyatino village is located in the northern part of the Shatursky district, the distance to the Moscow Ring Road is about 152 km. Altitude 125 m [2] .
Title
In written sources, the village is referred to as Chernyatino [3] [4] . On the “Special Map of European Russia”, I. A. Strelbitsky is designated as Cherusti [5] .
The name is associated with the non-calendar personal name Chernyata [6] .
History
First mentioned in the scribal Vladimir book of V. Kropotkin 1637-1648. like the village of Chernyatino in the Krivandy volost of Vladimir district. The village belonged to Pankrat Petrovich Vecheslov and Sergey Fedorovich Khmyrov [3] .
After the abolition of serfdom, the village became part of the Yagodinsky volost of the Sudogod district of Vladimir province [4] .
In Soviet times, the village was part of the Pustoshinsky Village Council [7] .
