Goryaeva, Lyubov Vitalevna

Lyubov Grigoryeva Vital'evna (born September 24, 1946, Moscow ) is a Soviet and Russian orientalist , researcher and translator of ancient Malay manuscripts. Daughter V.N. Goryaeva , sister S.V. Goryaeva . A member of the Moscow Nusantara Society, the Nusantara MANASSA (Masyarakat Pernaskahan Nusantara) Indonesian Society of Ancient Manuscripts, and the Presidential Council of the Association of Friends of France [1] .

Short biography

Lyubov Vitalyevna was born in Moscow in the family of the famous graphic-illustrator Vitaly Nikolaevich Goryaev. In 1970 she graduated from the Indonesian branch of the Institute of Oriental Languages at Moscow State University. M. V. Lomonosov. In 1970-1973 studied in the graduate school of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the USSR Academy of Sciences. In 1975 she defended her thesis "Genres" hikayat "and" Cherita Penglapur Lara "in Malay classical literature" and received the title of candidate of philological sciences. Since 1974 - Researcher, and since 2012 - Leading Researcher of the Department of Monuments of Literature of the Peoples of the East, Institute of Oriental Studies [2] .

She carried out a scientific study, translation and publication of a number of monuments of Malay literature, including a unique manuscript from the collection of the St. Petersburg branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, containing the text of the Tale of Maharaja Marakarm, a literary monument belonging to the genre of adventurous in the Malay world.
