Ghost in the Shell: Arise

The plot tells about the events that occurred in 2027, which in chronology takes place before the 1995 film. A bomb explodes in Newport City, killing an arms dealer who might have connections with the mysterious 501 organization. Aramaki security officer hires military hacker Motoko Kusanagi to help him figure this out. In “Arise”, not only the character design was updated, but also the seiyu group. Maaya Sakamoto is now voicing Motoko Kusanagi (instead of Atsuko Tanaki).
