Dirk Mas (Maas) ( Dutch: Maas Dirk ; September 12, 1659, Haarlem - December 25, 1717, ibid.) - Dutch artist, painter, engraver of the Golden Age of Dutch painting .

He studied painting in Haarlem first with H. Mommers , then he took lessons from Nicholas Berham and later became a teacher's follower in the depiction of the Italian landscape.
He was later influenced by Jan van Huchtenburg . He lived and worked in Haarlem. Since 1678 - a member of the Guild of St. Luke a Haarlem, then - became a member of the Guild of Artists Confrérie Pictura in The Hague , and later lived in London .
In 1690 he accompanied William III of Orange and was present at the Battle of the Boyne River . Being an eyewitness to the battle with the army of the ousted King James II, he painted a picture of this event.
He painted mainly military scenes, battle and hunting scenes and landscapes with figures.
Several works of the artist are stored in the State Hermitage Museum , as well as in the collections of leading European museums.
