Location

The village of Semenovskaya is located in the northern part of the Shatursky district, the distance to the Moscow Ring Road is about 142 km. Height above sea level 115 m [2] .

Title

In written sources, the village is referred to as Semenovskaya [3] [4] [5] .

The name is associated with the personal name Semyon or a surname based on it [6] .

History

First mentioned in the scribal Vladimir book of V. Kropotkin 1637-1648. like the village of Semenovskaya in the Krivandy volost of Vladimir district. The village belonged to Nikita Vasilyevich Kaftyrev [3] .

After the abolition of serfdom, the village became part of the Selishchensky volost of the Pokrovsky district of the Vladimir province [5] .

After the October Revolution of 1917, the Semenov Village Council was formed. In 1921, the village council was part of the Lemeshnevsky volost of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow province . In 1923, Lemeshnevsky volost was renamed Lenin [7] . In 1926, only one village, Semenovskaya, was part of the village council [8] .

During the reform of the administrative-territorial division of the USSR in 1929, the Semenovsky village council became part of the Shatursky district of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region [9] . At the same time, the village council was renamed Semenovo-Leninsky.

In 1936, the Semenovo-Leninsky Village Council was liquidated, and the village of Semenovskaya was transferred to the Garmonikhinsky Village Council . Since 1954, the village was part of the Vlasov village council [10] , and in 1977 it became part of the Bordukovsky village council [9] .
