Club career

Antonio began his career in futsal , from where he got into big football. In 2004, he joined the academy of the famous Paraguayan club Cerro Porteno [2] . In 2007, he moved with his parents to Spain, where he began to study in the modest club La Blanca Subur. As part of this team, he managed to score 70 goals in a season. After this achievement, the player began to look closely at Barcelona and Real Madrid .

Antonio joined the Barcelona Academy in 2009, at the age of thirteen [3] . After two seasons of adaptation, for the third Antonio became the team's top scorer in the Cadet A category, scoring 26 goals in 28 matches. Season 2012/13 Antonio spent in the category Souvenir A , passing the category Souvenir B. In 2012, he trained with the club’s main team [4] . In 2014, Antonio left the Catalan team.

On January 14, 2014, the media reported that Sanabria was joining Roma for 5 million euros [5] .

On January 29, 2014, the forward was leased from Roma to Sassuolo until the end of the 2013/14 season.

Team Career

Since 2012, Antonio has been playing for the youth team of Paraguay, and since 2013 - for the “youth team”. On August 14, 2013, he made his debut for the national team of Paraguay in a friendly match against the German team [6] . He became the youngest player ever to be part of the Paraguayans, at the time of debut he was 17 years 5 months and 10 days. On September 7 of the same year, Antonio played for the national team in the qualifying match for the 2014 World Cup against the national team of Bolivia [7] .
