Hodsho [1] , or also Balandino , Hotcho [2] - a lake in the Vyazovskaya volost of the Novosokolnichesky district of the Pskov region . Located on the Bezhanitsky Upland .

Area - 1.1 km² (110.1 ha). The maximum depth is 8.5 m, the average depth is 4.7 m. [2]
On the southern shore of the lake is the village of Balandino , on the eastern coast - the village of Sadiba .
Flowing. The Great River flows through the lake (from east to west). Hodsho is located between two larger other flowing lakes Big Elm (to the east) and Big Ostryo to (west).
The type of lake is bream-coley with vendace. Mass species of fish: bream, pike, vendace, roach. bleak, perch, silver bream, ruff, rudd, crucian carp, tench, burbot, ide, gudgeon, bullhead, loach, tweezers, dace, chub, top, fastling, char, nine-spined stickleback; broad-toed cancer (low productivity). [2]
The lake is characterized by: forests, meadows, swamps, gardens; in the littoral - sand, stones, silted sand, in the center - silt, stones, silted sand; there are rafts. [2]
