Geographical position

Yambirnsky rural settlement is located in the north-east of the Shatsky district of the Ryazan region. The boundaries of a rural settlement are determined by the law of the Ryazan region dated October 8, 2008 No. 117-OZ. [3]

Climate and natural resources

The climate of the Yambirnsky rural settlement is temperate continental , with warm summers and moderately cold winters. Precipitation is not evenly distributed throughout the year.

The main rivers are the Tsna , Idovka and Vyazovka.

The territory of the settlement is located in the zone of deciduous and mixed forests . Soils are predominantly dark forest, gray forest and light gray forest; alluvial (floodplain).

Minerals: peat , limestone , building clay and sand .

History

The settlement was approved on April 14, 2009, by the council of deputies of the municipality of Yambirnsky rural settlement, in connection with the law "On Giving the Municipal Formation - Shatsky District the Status of a Municipal District" adopted by the Ryazan Regional Duma on September 22, 2004 . By the law of the Ryazan region dated May 11, 2017 No. 24-OZ, [5] the Yambirnskoye and Novosvezhenskoye rural settlements were transformed, through their unification, into the Yambirnsky rural settlement with an administrative center in the village of Yambirno.

Composition of a rural settlement

The administrative structure of a rural settlement is determined by the law of the Ryazan region dated 07.10.2004 No. 101-OZ. [12] The rural settlement includes 9 settlements:

Economics

According to data for 2015/2016, in the Yambirnsky rural settlement of the Shatsky district of the Ryazan region, there are:

  1. LLC Children's Health and Education Center "Friendship" (activities in the field of health and education).

The sale of goods and services is carried out by several stores.

Social Infrastructure

On the territory of the Yambirnsky rural settlement there are: a branch of Sberbank of Russia, a postal service department, a medical outpatient clinic and 1 feldsher-obstetric center (FAP), a Yambirn basic comprehensive school (a branch of the Lesno-Konobeyevskaya secondary school), a kindergarten, a House of Culture and a library.

Transport

The main cargo and passenger transportation is carried out by road and rail. The federal highway M-5 Ural passes through the northern part of the rural settlement: Moscow - Ryazan - Penza - Samara - Ufa - Chelyabinsk. For the population of the southeastern part of the settlement, the Vernadovka-Kustarevka railway line of the Moscow railway with the Svezhenkaya station is of great importance. Until the end of the 20th century. a certain significance for the development of the district's economy was the waterway along the Tsne River; on the territory of the rural settlement there is a marina (anchorage) Yambirno.
