Zhambyl ( Kazakh. Zhambyl ) is a village in the Kostanay district of the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of Zhambyl rural district. It is located about 14 km northeast of the city center of Kostanay . The KATO code is 395459100 [1] .

Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 1808 people (876 men and 932 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1912 people lived in the village (918 men and 994 women) [2] .
