Zarechnoye ( Kaz. Zarechny ) is a village in the Kostanay district of the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Zarechny rural district. It is located about 7 km east of the center of Kostanay and 2 km northeast of the regional center - the village of Zatobolsk . The KATO code is 395431100 [2] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 5,246 people (2,640 men and 2,606 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 5,804 people lived in the village (2,788 men and 3,016 women) [3] .
