Alta (Alta, gr. Άλτα) is a Greek manufacturer of light three-wheeled trucks, motorcycles and cars. The production of motorcycles and three-wheeled trucks and 50 cc Sachs engines began at the first factory in Athens in 1962. The 50S was known for its reliability (some have survived to this day in good working condition). In 1967, the A700 was developed, a three-wheeled truck with a BMW engine and a load capacity of 800 kg. The truck, characterized by a pleasant design and high reliability, has become one of the most successful cars of this type in Greece. In 1968, Alta developed a three-wheeled passenger car , model Alta A200 . Equipped with a 200 cc Heinkel engine see, the car was based on the German Fuldamobil (also licensed by Attica in Greece), but with a body of its own design. The machine was modest success and was produced until 1974. The company moved to a new plant in Eleusis , where it worked until 1978.
