Spring Thunder - part of a series of the most popular annual half-marathon of Russia, which is conducted by the 3sport team. “Spring Thunder” includes three distances - a half marathon (21.1 km), a satellite race for 10 km, and a 1 km race for young athletes aged 3 to 12 years. Also annually, starting in 2010, another half-marathon from the “thunder series” - Autumn Thunder - is held .

Organizers
The 3sport.org team is Mikhail Gromov and Maksim Buslaev, amateur triathletes, who have many different triathlon, running, cycling, swimming and cross-country competitions from TransAlpa to Ironman .
Charity
In 2015, as part of the Spring Thunder Drum & Race half-marathon, participants collected money in the amount of 409,384 rubles, which were sent to the Sunflower Foundation for Children with Disabilities.
In 2014, as part of the Spring Thunder Drum & Race, the participants collected funds in the amount of 164,021 rubles, which were sent to the Sunflower Foundation for Children with Immune Disorders.
In 2013, as part of the half-marathon, the Spring Thunder collected 168,508 rubles, which were distributed to charitable foundations - Orbi, Life Line , by the Konstantin Khabensky Charitable Foundation, Downside Up.
