History
The village was founded in the 18th century . Until the 60s of the XIX century, the population of the village belonged to the category of state peasants .

Geographical position
The village is located in the north of Tatarstan, in the western part of the Baltasinsky district, in the central part of the rural settlement, on the right bank of the Kushket river. The distance to the district center ( Baltasi urban-type settlement) is 25 km [1] . The absolute height is 141 meters above sea level [2] . The nearest settlements are Upper Subash , Lower Subash , Kushketbash , Kzyl-Igenche .
