Kabi is a river flowing in western Uganda . It starts in a swampy area 12 km from Kitoma . Flows to the east, then goes to the north, where it flows into the river Victoria-Nil . 8 km from the mouth is the port of Masindi . The length of the river is 180 km. The river crosses or is the boundary for the areas: Kyanquansi , Nakaseke , Nakasongola , Masindi , and Kibaale .
