General information

The composition of the rural settlement includes 32 settlements of the three abolished administrative-territorial units - Bereznyakovsky , Buzhaninovsky and Naugolovsky rural districts [1] [2] .

The administrative center is the village of Bereznyaki [1] .

The head of the rural settlement is Vladimir Zhuliev. Administration address: 141357, Moscow Region, Sergiev Posad District, Bereznyaki Village, 101 [3] .

History

Formed in the course of municipal reform , in accordance with the Law of the Moscow Region dated February 28, 2005 No. 60/2005-OZ “On the Status and Borders of the Serievo-Posadsky Municipal District and the Newly Formed Municipal Unions” [1] .

By the law of the Moscow Region of March 20, 2019, the Sergiev Posad municipal district was abolished, and all the settlements included in its composition on April 1, 2019 were merged into a single municipality - the Sergiev Posad municipal district [4] .

Geography

Located in the eastern part of the district. It borders on the rural settlement of Lozovsky , urban settlements of Sergiev Posad , Skoropuskovsky , Peresvet , Krasnozavodsk and Bogorodskoye , as well as the urban district of Krasnoarmeysk and the Aleksandrovsky district of the Vladimir region . The area of ​​the rural settlement is 21,798 ha (217.98 km²). [5]
