Cholmani or Cholyan ( Georgian ჩოლმანი , Azeri Çölmən or Azeri Çölən ) is a village of Tsalka municipality , Kvemo-Kartli region of the Republic of Georgia with 100% Azerbaijani population . Included in the community of Arjevan-Sarvani. [3]

Geography
It borders with the villages of Minsazkendi , Gedaklari , Livadi , Arjevan-Sarvani of the Tsalka Municipality and the village of Napilnari of the Tetritskaroy Municipality . [4] In the east of the village begins the Algeti Nature Reserve , in the north - the Trialeti Range and Kldekari Castle . [five]

According to the State Statistics Committee of Georgia, according to the official census of 2002 , the population of the village of Cholmani is 295 people and 99% consists of Azerbaijanis . [6]
Economics
The population is mainly engaged in sheep farming , cattle breeding and vegetable growing .
