Zheleznodorozhny ( Kaz.Zheleznodorozhny ) is a village in the Karasu district of the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Zheleznodorozhny rural district. It is located about 63 km south of the district center, the village of Karasu . The KATO code is 395243100 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 1697 people (822 men and 875 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1708 people lived in the village (837 men and 871 women) [2] .
