Dobrov, Semyon Konstantinovich

Semyon Konstantinovich Dobroev ( September 14, 1913 , the village of Ust-Kamyshta , Minusinsk District, Yenisei Province , Russian Empire - May 1, 1995 , Abakan , Republic of Khakassia ) - the first Khakass professional journalist , public figure. Editor-in-chief of the newspaper Lenin Choli (Leninsky Put) ( 1939 , with interruptions until 1974 ), the newspaper Sovetskaya Khakassia (1943-1944), and own correspondent of the newspaper Pravda ( 194-5-1951 ). Member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR ( 1964 ). Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR ( 1973 ).

Biography

He was born into the family of a laborer Unas (Konstantin) Dobrov as a fourth child (older ones are Olga, Roman, Makar ). He studied at the school of peasant youth. Since 1930 - assistant accountant, liquidator of illiteracy, propagandist of the "Red Yurt", organizer of collective farm life. He began journalistic activity on April 1, 1932, as a translator from Russian into Khakass language, then as editor of the department in the newspaper Khizil Aal (Red Village) ( Lenin Choli since 1959 ) . Since 1933 - the head of the publication of the newspaper "Komsomolets Khakassia" in Khakass language. In 1936-1939 he studied at the V.V. Vorovskiy Leningrad Communist Institute of Journalism , after which he was appointed editor of the Khizil Aal newspaper. In 1939 he joined the CPSU (b) .

In 1943 he was approved by the editor of the newspaper Sovetskaya Khakassia . In June 1944 he was sent to Moscow, where he graduated from the six-month Central newspaper courses at the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks and began working as the Pravda correspondent for the Kirghiz SSR. At the request of the Khakassky regional party committee in 1945, he was recalled to Abakan and reapproved by the editor of the regional newspaper. But at the end of 1945 - appointed by the correspondent of Pravda in the Kazakh SSR [1] .

In 1951 he returned to Khakassia as the editor of the Khizil Aal newspaper . In 1954-1960 he worked as the head of the propaganda and agitation department of the Khakass regional committee of the CPSU . And then again, before retiring in 1974, he headed the collective of the regional newspaper in the Khakass language [2] .

Repeatedly elected a member of the Khakassky regional committee and the Abakan CC of the CPSU , deputy of the Council of Deputies of Workers of the Khakass Autonomous Region , member of the Academic Council of the Khakassky Research Institute of Language, Literature and History, chairman of the Bureau of the Club of Creative Intelligentsia [3] , editor of the literary and artistic almanac "Ah-Taskhyl " [4] .

He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor , the Badge of Honor , and medals.
