Biography
The representative of the Prussian noble clan Dengofov coat of arms " Boar ". The third son of the Prussian lieutenant general , Count Friedrich von Dengoff ( 1639 - 1696 ), and Countess Eleanor Catherine Elizabeth von Schwerin ( 1646 - 1696 ). The brothers are Prussian generals Otto Magnus , Bohuslav Friedrich and Alexander .
In 1686, Ernest Vladislav von Dengoff began a military career in the Anhalt regiment. In 1790 he received the rank of major , in 1696 he commanded the battalion of Anhalt-Dessau . He participated in the war against France ( 1690 - 1697 ), during which in 1696 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel . In 1698, Ernest Vladislav von Dengoff, holding the rank of colonel , served as chamberlain under the Prussian King Frederick III .
In 1702-1713 he participated in military campaigns against France . In 1704 he commanded the Hessian-Kassel regiment. In 1705 he was promoted to lieutenant general .
In 1715 he took part in the siege of the Swedish fortress Stralsund .
In 1723 he was appointed governor of Kohlberg .
He owned the estate of Marklavka in East Prussia and was the commander of the Order of St. John in Swidwin .
He died and was buried in Berlin .
