Biography
He entered this position in 1792. Abankur provided the Legislative Council with a report on the state of the northern borders. Tuleieri was unsuccessfully defended and was tried for "insulting the nation" [2] . Suspended from the post of Minister of War at the request of Türio, Abancourt was arrested along with Berthier, his first secretary, and exiled first to Forge and then to Orleans.
Having received an order to return to Paris, Abankur was killed on the way to Versailles on September 9, 1792 .
