Tokuhei Sada was born in 1909 in Yamanashi Prefecture , raised in Nagoya , graduated from Meiji University .

At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam, Tokuhei Sada won the silver medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 1928 Olympic Games . After returning from the Olympic Games, he began working in the private railway company Hankyu. In 1933 he died from an illness.
