The village is located between the right bank of the Volga and the federal highway P104 . To the north-east of the village on the highway is the village of Kurzino, and to the south-east also on the highway - the village of Porhachi. Around these three villages is one large field surrounded by forest [2] .
On January 1, 2007 in the village of Petrovskoye there were 8 permanent residents [3] . The village is served by a post office located in the village of Okhotino [4] .
