Tunes was born in Caracas to a family of immigrants from Spanish Galicia . At the age of 7, he returned with his family back to Spain .

Club career

Andres began his career at the youth academy of the Compostela club, but after two years he moved to the Celta system. In 2006, he graduated from the club’s academy and played for the reserve team for four seasons, waiting for his chance. In early 2010, after leaving the main competitor for a place in Jordi's base at Rubin Kazan , Tunes began to win a place in the starting lineup. On January 16, in a match against Real Sociedad , he made his debut in La Liga [2] . On May 21, 2011, Andres scored his first goal for the club in a duel against Elche [3] .

In the 2013/14 season, he played in Israel for Beitar (Jerusalem). Since 2014, he has been playing for the Buriram United in Thailand, and has repeatedly become the champion of Thailand (2014, 2015, 2017). In the 2016/17 season, he played on loan for an outsider of Spain’s second division Elche .

International Career

On September 7, 2011, in a friendly match against the Guinean national team, he made his debut for the Venezuelan national team [4] .

In 2015, he entered the application for participation in the America's Cup in Chile . At the tournament, he played in matches against the national teams of Colombia [5] , Peru [6] and Brazil [7] .
