Zhanaaul ( kaz. Zhaңaauyl ) is a village in Karabalyksky district of Kostanay region of Kazakhstan . Included in the Novotroitsk rural district. It is located approximately 42 km north-west of the district center, the village of Karabalyk . The KATO code is 395049400 [1] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 353 people (175 men and 178 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 126 people lived in the village (61 men and 65 women) [2] .
