Lesnoye ( Kaz. Lesnoye ) is a village in the Karabalyk district of the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Mikhailovsky rural district. It is located about 32 km south-west of the district center, the village of Karabalyk . The KATO code is 395047200 [1] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 393 people (196 men and 197 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 277 people lived in the village (135 men and 142 women) [2] .
