Located on the left bank of the Usman River.
Known since the 18th century. In the list of settlements in 1862 there is a state-owned village of 37 yards, 302 inhabitants. In 1911 there were 30 courtyards in it, belonged to the parish of the church of the village of Storozhevoy . According to the census of 1926, there were 164 yards and 882 people. As of January 1, 2000, there were 135 households and 288 residents in the village.
