Chagino - a former village , which became part of Moscow with its expansion in 1960 . It was located north of the village of Kapotny , just around the bend of the Moscow River , close to the Lublin irrigation fields of the Moscow sewage system . At the moment, the territory of the village is included in the Chagino-Kapotnya industrial zone . [1] [2]

In June 1904 the village was almost completely destroyed by a whirlwind [3] , but later restored.
