Biography

The representative of the Polish noble clan Dengofov coat of arms " Boar ". The son of the royal nobleman and elder of the Dinaburg Henryk Dengoff (d. After 1626) and Anna Maria von Nolde, grandson of Colonel Otto Dengoff (c. 1554 - 1609 ). Brothers - Otto Pelplinsky Abbot , Colonel and Stargard Warden Henryk, Royal Guard commander and Stargard Warden Jan Dengofa .

At first, Theodore Dengoff served as a nobleman under the Polish royal king Jan Casimir Waza . In 1655, he would have been appointed the Great Lithuanian substation , and in 1656 he received the post of the Great Lithuanian Kravch. In 1658, Theodor Dengoff became a Lithuanian outfit, and in 1661 he received the post of subcommittee of the outland crown.

His wife Catherine von Bessen was the mistress of the Polish king Jan II Casimir and enjoyed great influence at the royal court. In 1668, after the abdication of the throne of John II Casimir Waza, Theodor Dengoff supported the candidacy of the French prince Louis Conde-Bourbon the Great to the Polish royal throne.
