Archimandrite Clement (in the world Xenophon Ivanovich Stoyanovsky ; c. 1849 - January 18, 1906 ) - archimandrite of the Russian Orthodox Church , rector of the Moscow Novospassky Monastery .
Biography
In 1873 he graduated from the Kiev Theological Academy and was identified as a caretaker at the Kamenetz-Podolsky Theological College.
In 1885 he was tonsured a monk with the name Clement and appointed inspector of the Vologda Theological Seminary .
In 1887 he was dismissed from the post of inspector and transferred as a teacher to the Voronezh Theological Seminary .
February 5, 1893 was determined by the rector of the Vitebsk Theological Seminary with the elevation to the rank of archimandrite .
In 1896, he was appointed senior censor of the St. Petersburg Spiritual Censorship Committee.
In 1898 he was appointed rector of the Moscow Novospassky Monastery .
He died on January 18, 1906.
